A CUSTOM piece is a unique jewel by SÓLIDA. As such, a CUSTOM piece is jewelry with the SÓLIDA aesthetic, a personalized version of a model from our ready to wear collections made just for you.

Options for personalization include:

MATERIALS

You may pick from sterling silver, 10K, 14K or 18K yellow, rose or white gold. You can learn more about the metals we use on our materials page.

GEMSTONES AND CRYSTALS

Choose from a variety of gemstones and crystals in different cuts, shapes and colors. If you are after a particular gem such as your birthstone we may source it for you. This service has a cost which is included in the final quote.

RING SIZE

If a ring is the kind of piece you are after, you will need to provide us your ring size, or the size of the person who will wear it. We strongly advise to be sized by a professional jeweler. If you are in San Jose, you may visit our atelier so we can size you. We use the US sizing system. We have ring sizers available for purchase.

TIMEFRAMES

CUSTOM pieces require a particular timeframe to ensure quality and craftsmanship in each step of the creation of your jewel. Ranging from 6 to 10 weeks depending on the project for most CUSTOM orders, you can also explore our pieces from our semipermanent collections which have shorter production times.

THE PROCESS

A designer fee of $100 for sterling silver and of $300 for gold is required for us to start working on a quote of your dream SÓLIDA piece. Non-refundable, this sum is included in the final price of your order.

Once we agree on the details and have defined the specifics of the piece we will send you the final quote for your project.

Before we can start with the processes of designing and crafting of your piece the remaining balance of the quote will have to be canceled.

Only minor changes on the final design are allowed at this stage of the process.

After casting your piece, it will be hand-finished at our atelier in San Jose at which point it will be ready to be picked up or shipped.
