METATE VIDE POCHE II

Ancient totems mostly used for ceremonial purposes, metates of volcanic stone and varying shapes are part of the Indigenous heritage of Costa Rica.

This unique object was envisioned as a vide poche but it will be a statement piece of your home decor in any case.

This metate was made using recycled cypress wood, the tree of immortality and a link between heaven and earth.

The plate is approximately 8"x8" (20x20cm) and the legs 5" (13cm).
